RTSYS DEVELOPS LOW COST SYSTEM TO UPDATE SONARS

The AS3I solution was developed by RTSys in order to improve current sonar performances and usability without having to replace the Hull Mounted and/or Variable Depth Sonar. AS3I upgrades sonar systems to a high performance numerical sonar system using existing hardware. The emission and reception numerical upgrade leads the way to a new range of computer sonar processing techniques. This state-of-the-art-signal processing enables high performance detection. The sonar system is fully upgraded thanks to a modern multiscreen high resolution display. This versatile system allows real-time color and contrast control, therefore allowing better use of the sonar and upgrading users’ efficiency. With AS3I it is possible to replay and generate a wide range of training missions. In addition, this global upgrade has been designed to easily accept proof upgrades in the future.
This simple, inexpensive and efficient solution can be applied on vessels of various Navies around the world, including Brazil.
RTSys is a French company represented in Brazil by DefenSea Consultoria.

CANADIAN NAVY’S REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLE (ROV) REFITTED BY ISE LTD. – A CANADIAN COMPANY REPRESENTED BY DEFENSEA CONSULTORIA IN BRAZIL

he Canadian Navy’s Mine-Countermeasures (MCM) Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is ready to be returned to the customer after its recent refit by International Submarine Engineering – ISE Ltd, a Canadian company represented in Brazil by DefenSea Consultoria.

TrailBlazer, a 25 HP vehicle is a testament to ISE’s longstanding service to a system. It has been in operation with the Canadian Navy since 1995. TrailBlazer 25 is within a non-expendible family of ISE MCM ROVs that are capable of detecting long or short tethered mines as well as bottom mines.
The configuration of this quick performing ROV is streamlined, which makes transporting and facilitating its component also a quick and easy procedure. TrailBlazer 25, its winch, control systems, and all peripheral equipment fits into one standard 20ft container for ease and speed of transport.
ISE was formed in 1974 to design and build underwater vehicles. Based just outside Vancouver, Canada, ISE has delivered 240 vehicles and over 400 robotic manipulators to more than 20 countries around the world.
Congratulations to ISE for the excellent job.
